Laragh on Hogsback

Laragh is three self-catering cottages stepped down the Bluff slope above the village — the arrangement that works for family groups who want to be together for dinner and apart for the afternoon. Book one cottage or, with twelve beds across the three, take the lot for a reunion or a hiking weekend.

The cottages

Three self-catering cottages, twelve beds in total on the village sheet’s count. Each is its own unit with its own kitchen, so the property flexes from a couple in one cottage to a full-house group without anyone sharing a lounge with strangers.

Location

Bluff side, between the village and The Edge — near enough to pop down to the shops, high enough that the porch looks over trees rather than traffic. The grid reference on the village sheet puts it a short drive from the Oak Avenue pillars, which is where most of the easy walking starts (Circular Walk, 39 Steps & Arboretum).

Pets and practicalities

No pets at Laragh, per the village sheet — if the dog is non-negotiable, see our pet-friendly stays list instead.
