Hogsback parkrun
A free, weekly 5k on the Commonage at the Bluff — walk it, jog it, run it or volunteer at it; parkrun doesn’t care about your pace, only your barcode. The course follows the Commonage with the mountain around it, and afterwards the crowd migrates to The Edge for the post-run coffee, which in a village this size is half the event.
The essentials
- When: every Saturday, 8:00 sharp — parkrun’s fixed weekly slot. And Hogsback’s has become a destination parkrun: runners travel from all over the country to tick it off, often for milestone runs, with the mountain as the backdrop
- Where: Commonage on the Bluff — follow The Edge signboards from the Main Road
- Cost: free, but register once and bring a scannable barcode — no barcode, no time
