Nibelheim
One bedroom, sixty square metres, a 9.4 “Wonderful” from 61 Booking.com reviews — and a 9.9 location score, which on a hillside village means exactly what it sounds like: you’re where you want to be. Nibelheim is a one-bedroom self-catering cottage for two on the Mid-Bluff, and the numbers say it’s one of the best-reviewed small stays in the village.
The cottage
A queen-bed bedroom, a bathroom, and an open living space in 60 m² — whole-place rental, made for two. The name is pure Nibelungenlied by way of Richard Wagner, which in Hogsback is less a theme and more a neighbourhood convention: half the map got named by Tolkien enthusiasts and German romantics, and this street collected a Ring cycle reference.
Location
Mid/Bluff Hogsback (GPS −32.5917, 26.9290) — between the village and the Bluff, an easy drive to everything.
Pets
No pets, per the Booking.com house rules — the village sheet agrees. See the pet-friendly stays list for doors that open for dogs.

Who it suits
Two people who rate quiet, quality and location over size — the scores say that’s exactly who’s already staying here. Compare the village self-catering list if you need more room.
