Misty Oaks is one cottage for up to four people on Clifton Farm, between Hogsback and Cathcart — outside the village rather than in it, which is either the appeal or the dealbreaker depending on what you came for. If your idea of the Amatholes is a farm gate, mist off the paddocks and no other guests in sight, this is that kind of place. The vetting ruling (09 Aug 2026) approved the listing with the location noted, so we state it plainly: you stay here for the farm quiet, and you drive to the village for restaurants and trailheads.
