Trengwainton House

Trengwainton is the dinner-party house: an open-plan farmhouse-style stay with a ten-seater table, giant bathrooms, hotel-style beds, and a 9.5 “Exceptional” from 51 Booking.com reviews at the October 2026 check — with facilities rated 9.9. If your group’s idea of a mountain weekend involves one long table and nobody drawing the short straw on accommodation, this is the shape you want.

The house

The main vacation home sleeps eight across three queen beds and two twins, with multiple bathrooms (walk-in showers, some with baths) and that big farmhouse kitchen. There’s also a one-bedroom house on the property for a couple who wants their own door. Whole-place rental either way.

Worth knowing: free Wi-Fi is the property’s weakest score (7.5) — fine for a weekend, plan around it if you need to work.

Location

Woodside Drive, Hogsback — quiet side of the village, a short drive from the centre.

Pets

No pets, per the house rules. The pet-friendly stays list covers the doors that open for dogs.

Booking and contact

  • Booked through Booking.com — rates and availability live there.
  • Host: Joanne Campbell — who also runs Cannacopia in the lower village.

Who it suits

Family groups and friend-collectives of six to eight who want one big table, big bathrooms and a proper farmhouse feel — and don’t need the dog along.
